Friends of Aqueduct Primary School (FOAPS)

The Friends of Aqueduct Primary School (FOAPS) are a group of parents (and can also include relatives and members of the local community) who arrange fun events and activities for the children and their families with a goal of raising funds for the school.

All parents who have a child currently at Aqueduct Primary School are automatically a member of the Friends of Aqueduct Primary School (together with all of the staff).

FOAPS organise fun events for the children and their families to raise money for resources and equipment that the school and Local Authority are unable to raise themselves. These events include a Summer Tea Party, Christmas Fair, Disco’s, Second Hand Uniform Sales and designing Christmas Cards plus much more.

Every child who attends Aqueduct Primary School benefits from all the funds raised.

FOAPS hold regular meetings to arrange and plan events and everyone is welcome to attend and share ideas. FOAPS are always grateful of help to plan and hold events and it is hoped that all parents of children at Aqueduct Primary become involved in some way during the school year.

The current committee is made up of Clare Ware (Chair), Wendy Hollyhead (Treasurer), Amanda Crossley, Louise Tabberer, Natalie Maxwell, Gemma Clarke, Susan Bloomer, Janine Devine, Sigita Vitkauskiene and Beau O'Rourke
